She’s Gone Country

This weekend I made the trek to my homeland of Tejas. It seems like the moment I crossed the Red River every radio station suddenly became country. I was inspired to share these beautiful things with you today!

Turn up the texture

Enchanting embroidery, stunning sequins and artsy appliqué added a certain charm to runway attire this spring. It seems that arts and crafts are still taking over this seasons looks. My favorite has to be the folksy prints by Anna Sui!

The View from My Window

So we’ve lived in our apartment for five years now. Every spring, the tree just outside blossoms into this amazing burst of fuchsia. I’ve always wanted to take pictures of it but have never seemed to get around to it. This morning, the sun was shining down on it just right and i just couldn’t resist.

Spring Trends: Striking Silhouettes

Soft, 1920’s inspired silhouettes are everywhere for spring. To be even more on trend, pair a floral print with an oversized menswear jacket. Or what about a pencil-legged trouser with a structured shouldered top? If all else fails, grab a cigar, and don your fanciest pair of gentlemen’s pajamas!

White hot or not?

Speaking of color (or lack thereof), white seemed to be the it girl on the runway for spring. From bright white to ecru she was seen everywhere, in every shape and form.

Which of these looks are your fav?
