WOW! I’ve reached my 100th post. I can’t believe I’ve had so much to say! To celebrate, I’d like to take a quick poll. Vote before midnight (cst), thursday, April 30th to win a lovely pair of QUiD cute-as-a-button fabric studs! One winner will be selected at random. Haute and Sunny

Need a new ride? Downtown girl, Cynthia Rowley has the chicest method of transport.  Although, I would recommend pairing this Beach Cruiser with something other than heels. Sweet gold flats, perhaps?

Back at it

We got back from the Spring Fling show in Ft. Worth last night. I must say, I’ve developed a new love for that city! We’ll definitely be going back to do some serious thrifting! The show was super great in that I got to see some of the greatest peeps in the craft world. Here are a few of the highlights!

Headed to Texas

After hours and hours (and hours) of sewing, beading, painting and tagging I’m just about ready to head to the first show of the season. Anyone in the Ft. Worth, Texas area should be sure to come by and check it out! Over 100 handmade vendors, food, a raffle benefitting the humane society…what more could you ask for on a saturday? Nothing, I’d think.

p.s. Congrats to Bridgette for winning the Name Game! Would you all like to see more things like this happen on tha ol’ blog?

The Name Game: Prize Involved!

So, I’m 2 1/2 days away from my next big craft show. The product is basically done but I’ve yet to decide what to wear. I made a really cute paper bag skirt but now I think I want to make a hand-painted tank. The dilema: what should it say?

That’s good news for you! For the next 24 hours, I’ll be taking submissions for 2-3 word phrases to use on the shirt. Post ‘em here, but keep it clean.

THE WINNER of this challenge will receive 1 said tank in the size of your choice along with a special surprise from the QUiD collection! 3-2-1…GO!

Today I have a mild obsession over plates. I could hardly take my eyes off this fab wall of plated goodness via the nest. And how chic is this china from etsy?

crush-worthy photos

I find myself with a bit of a crush today. While insomnia kept me up half the night, I ran across these incredible photos by Tim Walker. You may know him for his work on those crazy colorful Juicy Couture ads…but take a peek at these gems!
